For the past 3 years, Contact Camp has been both a group project for sharing Contact Improvisation on the playa and a place to stay and share community for Contact Improvisors. This last year (2007) Contact Camp was home to 75

The Body Research Contact Festival at Sierra Hot Springs: August 19-24 it's happening! Sierra Hot Springs is about 3 hours from Black Rock City, and we'll be taking some of the contact camp infrastructure there and dusting it off before the burn to create a contact festival for about 70 experienced contactors... 12-20 instructor/presenters from around the country, facilitated space for laboratories, and jams, performances, discussions, and other events, plus, of course, the hot springs and access to Tahoe National Forest.
